About the role

The Crawfordsville Distribution Center is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities. This is an onsite position based in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (12.5% shift differential pay)
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (15% shift differential pay)

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain plant equipment and facilities
• Perform electrical construction and read schematics
• Work with mechanical trades, forklifts, and conveyor systems
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens or Allen Bradley Programmable Controllers (PLCs) or other relative PLCs
• Perform additional tasks in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and welding
• Work overtime as required

Requirements

• Two or more years of relevant experience in facility or industrial maintenance
• Basic PC skills
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting
• Ability to work overtime

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical construction and reading schematics
• Experience with mechanical trades, forklift, or conveyor repair (preferred)
• Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or other PLCs (desirable)
• Skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, or welding (a plus)
