Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden crates using pneumatic nail guns, drills, and/or impact drivers.
- Ensure crates are built to the highest quality by adhering to established procedures and approved processes.
- Work with the highest level of safety.
- Fulfill production orders on time to meet product delivery times.
- Use scanners and computers to communicate production order status.
- Provide feedback for process improvement opportunities that enhance safety, productivity, or efficiency.
- Maintain and improve area cleanliness to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Flex into other work areas as needed.
- Work overtime when required.
Requirements
- High attention to detail.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Essential Physical Functions
- Safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
- Safely climb stairs or ladders.
- Work in cold or hot conditions.
- Bend, stoop, squat, and kneel as required.
Equipment Used
The candidate may be required to use a variety of hand tools, including saws, drills, impact drivers, pneumatic air guns, and tape measures.
