Crane & Rigging Supervisor
About the role
The Crane & Rigging Supervisor will oversee all rigging and crane operations at the SieSAW (skid assembly) operation located in Raleigh/Knightdale, North Carolina. This is a greenfield startup assembly plant.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement rigging plans for lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Lead and manage rigging crews, providing guidance and training on safety standards and operational procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of rigging equipment and gear to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Ensure rigging operations comply with OSHA and other industry-specific safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, crane operators, and other stakeholders to coordinate rigging operations and address issues.
- Address and resolve challenges during rigging operations, including unexpected changes and equipment failures.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in crane operations and rigging within industrial or construction environments, including supervisory or lead responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of crane load charts, rigging methods, lift planning, and critical lift execution.
- Current NCCCO Crane Operator and/or Rigger certification (or equivalent nationally recognized certification).
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA crane and rigging regulations and safe work practices.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
- Adherence to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies, with a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic qualifications include current NCCCO Crane Operator and/or Rigger certification, valid CDL Class A license, and OSHA 30 certification.
- Preferred qualifications include NCCCO Lift Certification, forklift certification, and experience supervising crane operations in manufacturing plants, power generation, or large industrial facilities.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineered lift plans and technical drawings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $61,547 - $105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
