Crane/Rigging Project Manager

Work Location

On-site in Manassas, VA with regular day travel in the Mid-Atlantic area. Reports to Operations Manager

Skills Needed to be Successful

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in crane/rigging industry are preferred with experience in managing small to medium size projects
• Highly detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to understand the technical aspects of the company’s work sufficiently perform their job
• Physically able to travel to and inspect jobsites on their own
• Work collaboratively with others to solve problems
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Prioritize tasks according to broad goals established for multiple projects

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating supply acquisition and distribution
• Communicate with field employees to determine short and medium range needs

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lifting and moving of extremely large objects, often with the assistance of various types of cranes and other lifting equipment
• Assisting in the setup and operation of rigging equipment
• Ensuring safety protocols are followed during rigging operations
• Collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution
