Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of specialized machinery, ensuring proper selection and setup of cranes, lifts, or hoists.
• Inspect and assess ground conditions and overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs; keep logs and records of operational activities.
• Maintain visual and radio communications with ground operators according to best practices and site safety regulations.
• Respond to questions and instructions clearly and quickly.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes.
• Current TWIC card.
• Ability to pass post-offer drug and physical screens, with a background that meets company requirements.
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials, or instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for understanding instructions, safety regulations, and record-keeping.
• Strong ability to work well within a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Strong depth perception and quick reaction time.
• Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move a minimum of 65 lbs.
• Visual capabilities to follow hand signals, maintain logs, and operate machinery.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
