Crane Operator II (above 150 tons) - 1237

Position Purpose/Summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street.

This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate lattice boom or Hydraulic crane above 150 tons.
2. Read and understand lift plans and always adhere to the lift plan.
3. Daily inspections and complete inspection report that will be reviewed and actioned by the Crane Superintendent.
4. Candidates should be flexible if they have experience in different cranes, there may be instances where the operator will be expected to run a different crane.
5. Perform all tasks efficiently and safely.
6. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Ability to maintain a National Crane Certification (NCCCO or NCCER).

Qualifications

• A National Crane Certification (NCCCO or NCCER) that is good.
• 5+ years of relevant crane operating experience with cranes over 150t capacity.
• Experience driving concrete piles is preferred.
