About the role
We are seeking a skilled, safety-focused Rough Terrain Crane Operator to operate a 15-Ton Tadano TR-150XL-4 for major ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate is a dependable operator who takes pride in precision work, maintains a strong safety record, and is proactive in assisting the team with other site duties during operational downtime.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 15-Ton Tadano TR-150XL-4 Rough Terrain Crane in accordance with manufacturer specifications and site safety guidelines.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks, inspect rigging, monitor fluid levels, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Work closely with riggers and signal personnel to ensure precise, secure load handling and positioning.
- Actively assist with general site tasks, tool maintenance, and ground support during operational downtime.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, site-specific safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Valid NCCCO (or equivalent industry/state) Crane Operator Certification for Rough Terrain / Hydraulic Cranes.
- Proven experience operating RT cranes (experience with Tadano equipment is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging procedures, hand signals, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to pitch in with general job site tasks when crane operation is paused.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work full project hours.
- Ability to pass required background checks, drug screenings, and physical evaluations.
Pay
We offer competitive prevailing wage rates based on project location:
- Kentucky Prevailing Wage (Primary Work Location):
- Base Pay: $41.55 / hour
- Fringes: $9.50 / hour
- Ohio Prevailing Wage (When Applicable):
- Base Pay: $44.14 / hour
- Fringes: $16.41 / hour
Schedule
Long-term assignment scheduled through December 2027.
