Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive the crane to the job site and operate the mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.
• Control the rigging, lifting, moving, and positioning of loads with the crane.
• Unload crane accessories, equipment, and materials from trailers or support vehicles, including setting up and dismantling of crane per ANSI and OSHA standards.
• Receive direction from others via verbal or hand signals to determine required load movement.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
• Read and interpret load charts to determine the safe operating capacity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least 2 years of experience operating a 45-ton crane.
• Knowledge of rigging and lifting techniques.
• Ability to work in extreme outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.

• Good physical stamina and strength.

Pay

$25.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday.
