Job Duties
- Safely operate crawler, ringer, and overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials, mooring equipment, and loads throughout the worksite.
- Perform pre-operation inspections on all crane equipment — identify and report damaged parts, leaks, wear, or any safety hazards.
- Rig loads using appropriate gear; select correct rigging equipment based on load charts and job requirements.
- Maintain control of all loads at all times; signal or verbally direct workers during hoisting and load movement operations.
- Set up, inspect, and dismantle rigging equipment before and after use.
- Load and unload materials and equipment onto and off trucks, vessels, and storage areas.
- Set, align, and level heavy equipment and machinery as required.
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment as needed.
- Perform yard maintenance and housekeeping to keep work areas safe and organized.
- Travel to the Fourchon, LA base as required, including overnight stays of up to one week to support yard operations.
- Work offshore as needed in a general yard and rigging support capacity (no crane operation offshore).
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and Delmar Systems safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience operating crawler, ringer, and/or overhead cranes in an industrial or oilfield environment (Required).
- 2+ years of forklift operation experience (Required).
- Valid crane operator certification preferred (NCCCO or equivalent).
- In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment, rigging gear selection, and load charts.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and ability to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations and complete overnight stays as required.
- Willingness to work offshore in a support capacity as operational needs arise.
- Physical fitness — ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform duties in noisy and outdoor environments.
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions including heat, rain, and high winds.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Schedule & Work Location
- Monday to Friday | 12-hour shifts | Weekends as needed based on operational requirements | Overtime as needed
