About the role
Join the team and become part of our family! This position plays a key role in keeping yard operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Sort scrap materials by type and quality
- Operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers
- Maintain material flow by cleaning out scrap spreads
- Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a team-focused environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts across yard operations
Requirements
- 2 plus years' experience operating mobile or crawler cranes (Liebherr, Sennebogen or Link-Belt)
- Knowledge of scrap metal types and grading
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others
- Able to meet instructions clearly
- Able to meet physical demands outlined in the Job Analysis Database

Pay
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM
