Crane Operator

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years (five preferred) load lifting crane operating experience in a professional capacity with a safe operating record.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and be able to obtain government driver’s license for size and type vehicles required.
• Must be able to pass a company physical and annual physical as required by Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Must have and wear at all times, hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards.
• Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements necessary for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safety - Develops and maintains a safe work environment. Completes all training requirements and fulfills self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participates in emergency response tasks, serves on safety committees and teams.
• Quality - Consistently provides services that meet customer expectations. Conforms to Amentum Quality Policy and carries out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts. Reads and understands Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
• Procedure Compliance - Reads, understands, and implements general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the job.
