Crane Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Uphold RESOLVE’s commitment to safety.
• Maintain and repair cranes and other equipment as needed.
• Determine overall condition of machines through inspections.
• Diagnose issues with Friction Cranes, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Restore equipment to working order.
• Exhibit positive and effective interaction with other RESOLVE associates, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and other work performed.
• Physical effort and dexterity is required, lifting up to 75 pounds, including service-related tools.
• Be familiar with the compliance requirements for OSHA, ANSI, and all local, state, and federal regulation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 5-7 years of mechanic or oiler experience.
• Friction Crane mechanic experience.
• TWIC or ability to obtain upon hire.

Preferred Requirements

• An engineering degree.
• A current or obtainable national certified Crane Operator license.
• NCCIC A/D Director Certification.
• Rigging/Forklift Operator Certifications.
• Fall Protection Awareness.
• OSHA 10 Hour (US employees).
• Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification (40 Hour HAZWOPER).
• First Aid CPR, AED.
