Crane Maintenance Technician III - 3rd Shift
Responsibilities
- Responds to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive and corrective maintenance on the facility hoists, cranes and other mechanical equipment and systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
- Identifies and corrects any safety-related issues and performs independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.
- Performs general Maintenance of equipment.
- Works in environments 6 to 30 ft above ground
- Travels to other sites when required (in the local Moline, Davenport, or QC area)
Requirements
- 3 years of experience troubleshooting cranes and hoists OR 1 year of mechanical experience along with a tech school
- Industrial maintenance or related facility maintenance discipline
- Crane certification isn't required to start but you must be able to obtain - we will help you become certified
- Must have the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be willing to travel locally up to 50% of the time
- Must be able to lift or carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged/extensive amounts of time
- Must be able to use a ladder or lift and work on structures or equipment above ground level
- Must be able to work in cramped or uncomfortable places and positions
- Must be able to push, pull, or lift heavy equipment, supplies, or parts
Qualifications
Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift. Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift. Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift. Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife. Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding. Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
Skills
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

Schedule
Typical hours: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift; overtime and hours may vary based on customer demand.
