Craftsman / Carpenter – Remodeling & Home Repair Experience

About the role

TruBlue Home Services is looking for a skilled and dependable Craftsman / Carpenter to join our growing team and serve homeowners throughout Hanover County and the surrounding communities. We provide high-quality home remodeling, repairs, maintenance, and improvement services to homeowners of all kinds. We have a particular passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Responsibilities

Our Craftsmen perform a wide variety of home improvement and repair projects, including:

• General carpentry and woodworking
• General home repairs and handyman services
• Tile installation and repair
• Drywall repair, patching, and caulking
• Flooring repair and installation
• Bathroom upgrades and remodeling
• Minor plumbing repairs
• Minor electrical repairs
• Interior and exterior painting
• Other residential remodeling and maintenance projects

Every day is different. You'll have the opportunity to use a variety of skills while helping homeowners maintain and improve their most important investment — their home.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and understands that great service is about more than simply completing a job.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has at least 1 year of paid experience in remodeling, carpentry, handyman work, or a related trade
• Takes pride in quality workmanship
• Has a strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Is comfortable working independently and managing multiple types of projects
• Has good communication and customer service skills
• Is professional, courteous, and respectful in customers' homes
• Enjoys helping people and making a difference
• Pays attention to detail and leaves each jobsite clean and organized
• Is willing to learn and continuously improve their skills
