About the role

Ace Handyman Services – Pittsburgh North is seeking highly motivated professional Carpenters with skills in multiple trades to join our team. We provide quality craftsmanship for repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects in the northern Pittsburgh region.

Responsibilities

- Work out of your home on your choice of a full time or part time basis. - Travel to job sites in Wexford, Cranberry, Ross, Allison Park, Gibsonia, and nearby areas using your own truck or van. - Provide quality craftsmanship and customer service. - Receive a starting rate of $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on carpentry experience. - Enjoy a flexible schedule, including Full Time, Part Time, or Flex Time. - Earn a potential income ranging from $45,000 to $55,000, plus performance bonuses. - Receive benefits such as vacation, performance bonuses, vehicle and tool allowance, cell phone reimbursement, company credit card for material purchases, flexible scheduling, advancement and growth opportunities, regular pay reviews, consistent year-round work, travel to work assignments right from your home, and more!

Requirements

- Strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades. - Excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks. - Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades. - Own truck or van. - Valid driver’s license. - Residence within the service area: Ross, McCandless, Sewickley, Cranberry, Wexford, Gibsonia, Mars, Allison Park, Hampton, Fox Chapel area. - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong documentation and invoicing skills. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

- Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience, strongly preferred. - Strong documentation and invoicing skills. - Professional appearance and demeanor. - Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
