Ace Handyman Services is a locally owned company with the backing of a national brand, Ace Hardware, and one of Lake Norman’s top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies. We provide homes and businesses throughout Lake Norman with quality craftsmanship for all handyman needs.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated professional Craftsman with skills in multiple trades. The ideal candidate is committed to quality work and customer service, possesses a strong will to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner, and is an independent thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform handyman services including plumbing, carpentry, tile work, and electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Maintain a clean-cut appearance and presentable vehicle with organized tools.
• Assess properties and communicate potential repairs or additional work opportunities to customers.
• Earn customer confidence by demonstrating capability and professionalism.
• Exceed customer expectations and strive for top customer satisfaction.
• Be punctual, efficient, and maintain the highest integrity.
• Act as an integral part of a winning team.

Requirements

• Good overall knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to identify and suggest additional work opportunities.
• Punctuality, efficiency, and strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance and reliable vehicle.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (no weekend work).

Pay

Very competitive pay with performance bonuses and vacation pay.
