Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pipelines for craft positions within assigned groups through close collaboration with field operations, hiring managers, and Self-Perform Work groups.
- Create and manage requisitions, assess job specifications, identify screening questions, conduct skills testing, and determine interview approaches.
- Interview potential candidates and consolidate feedback from interview teams.
- Stay current on market trends impacting project staffing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and national resources to create a pipeline of craft candidates.
- Maintain relationships with active, passive, and past candidates and referrals.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal team members to understand staffing needs and expectations.
- Enhance the overall craft candidate and employee experience by working with local field teams.
- Travel to job sites and other offices as needed to support craft recruiting initiatives.
- Open and create requisitions in iCIMS as requested by leadership and/or hiring managers.
- Perform phone and in-person screening of applicants, assess their skills and fit for roles, and route appropriately.
- Execute the full recruitment and hiring process, from candidate sourcing and interview coordination to extending offers and assisting with onboarding.
- Utilize iCIMS to maintain accurate documentation on candidates, hiring manager interactions, and recruiting activities.
- Process recruiting reports using applicable software/technology.
- Collaborate with manager to develop recruiting strategies.
- Work with hiring managers and recruiting teams to execute staffing plans and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Schedule interviews, manage logistics, and address issues as needed.
- Assist with organizing local and regional networking/hiring events, including job fairs, schools, trade shows, speaking engagements, military events, and student career events.
- Assist with recruiting initiatives for Brasfield & Gorrie as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of craft or trades staffing experience (construction industry strongly preferred).
- Proven success working with high-volume requisitions and tight timelines.
- Experience with iCIMS or similar ATS platforms.
- Comfortable traveling to jobsites, hiring events, and local offices as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or degree a bonus.
This role is an in-office position located at a Brasfield & Gorrie office.
