CRA Mortgage Loan Officer
About the role
Generate residential mortgage applications for homebuyers in the New York market, with a focus on low-to-moderate income homebuyers.
Develop and strengthen existing Realtor and Centers of Influence (COI) relationships to increase mortgage application referral sources.
Partner with local non-profits and participate in homebuyer education workshops throughout the New York market.
Develop productive working relationships with local branch teams and referral sources across the Bank to drive mortgage growth.
Responsibilities
- Generate residential mortgage applications for homebuyers in the New York market, with a focus on low-to-moderate income homebuyers.
- Develop and strengthen existing Realtor and Centers of Influence (COI) relationships to increase mortgage application referral sources.
- Partner with local non-profits and participate in homebuyer education workshops throughout the New York market.
- Develop productive working relationships with local branch teams and referral sources across the Bank to drive mortgage growth.
Requirements
- Knowledge of PHFA, FHA, Conventional, VA and RD loan programs
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High level of customer service skills
- Keep abreast of industry changes and updates
- Knowledge of regulations pertaining to residential mortgage originations such as, but not limited to, Fair Lending, Reg C, Reg Z
- Minimum of 3 years residential mortgage loan origination experience
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft – Word and Excel
- Exposure to loan operating systems – Encompass (a plus)
Skills

Benefits
An annual base salary range up to $75,000 + commission is what we expect to pay for this position, based on overall skills and experience.
