About the role
This is a long-term substitute position for a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to provide support services in a school setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision making
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary
- Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior analysis techniques
Requirements
- Current BCBA certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
- Master's degree in behavior analysis preferred
