CPS: Long Term Substitute BCBA

About the role

This position is a long-term substitute for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based setting. The role will be from September 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026, with a daily wage of $307.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision making
• Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the function of target behaviors
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
• Document all services provided and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Experience working with individuals with ASD
• Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Passing background check
