About the Role

Deliver medium-sized projects independently or contribute to large and complex construction projects throughout the entire construction lifecycle. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards while managing external parties and aligning solutions with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medium projects independently or participate in large, complex construction projects across the full lifecycle, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery.
• Manage all necessary external parties involved in project execution.
• Liaise with business colleagues, including business development, solutions design, operations, and finance teams, to align project solutions with business requirements.
• Lead construction activities and provide expert construction knowledge while implementing global processes in line with business strategy, corporate guidelines, and policies.
• Manage standardized project delivery and construction costing processes.
• Oversee tender evaluation, due diligence, and change order requests, advising business unit project managers as needed.
• Monitor quality criteria, project status, costs, issue resolution, and risk mitigation for regionally significant projects.
• Engage external sources to identify construction trends and headwinds.
• Connect with and influence specialist departments and third parties, such as external service providers.
• Promote and gain acceptance for new concepts, practices, and approaches.
• Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers.
• Understand customer and key stakeholder interests, concerns, and provide advisory support.
• Offer technical guidance to line managers and employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 2 years of experience in construction projects.
