We are looking for an experienced CPFR Planner to join a long-term contract opportunity in downtown Minneapolis. This role supports collaborative forecasting, customer planning, and inventory performance within a fast-paced entertainment environment.
About the role
This position works closely with cross-functional teams to translate demand signals, customer insights, and business priorities into reliable plans that strengthen service levels and operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer planning activities from forecast development through fulfillment to help align demand, supply, and service expectations.
- Build and maintain customer-level demand projections by combining historical performance, market signals, promotional activity, financial assumptions, and advanced forecasting inputs.
- Partner with sales, operations, logistics, finance, customer service, and supply planning teams to review forecast changes, business risks, and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate shipment history, seasonal patterns, inventory trends, and customer data to refine baseline forecasts and improve planning accuracy.
- Support replenishment decisions by monitoring inventory levels, weeks of supply, fill rate performance, and overall service results.
- Manage order change activity, including chase and cancel requests, while coordinating with internal stakeholders to maintain execution against customer needs.
- Track inbound and import-related inventory flow to help ensure product availability for ongoing demand and key promotional periods.
- Contribute to monthly S&OP activities by summarizing customer demand outlooks, inventory concerns, and emerging market developments for assigned accounts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, CPFR, or a related planning function.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory analysis, and replenishment planning principles.
- Experience using forecasting methods and planning tools to interpret demand patterns and support business decisions.
- Ability to analyze sales history, customer trends, and operational data to develop accurate demand plans.
- Proven success working cross-functionally with sales, logistics, finance, operations, and customer service teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present risks, recommendations, and planning updates to stakeholders.
- Experience supporting order management, allocation decisions, and service performance in a customer-focused environment.
