Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041)
- Manage client relationships, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
- Research complex tax issues and work closely with shareholders on tax strategies
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Stay current on tax laws and industry trends to deliver expert guidance
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and mitigate potential risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license
- 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly for business and individual tax clients
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing tax teams in a CPA firm
- Familiarity with industries such as real estate, non-profits, and privately held businesses
- Experience with tax planning software and other advanced tools
Pay
$120k - $150k+ DOE
