Position Summary

As a CoVentures Deal Associate, you work in close partnership with a Deal Lead to drive their book of CoVentures opportunities forward. Recruiting for this role ends on 09/1/2026.

Work you'll do

• Deal execution and diligence
• Materials and pitch development
• Pipeline ownership and sourcing support

Skills

• Ability to own pitch narrative from concept through executive-ready artifact
• Translate complex business model trade-offs into clear decision-ready options
• Source inbound opportunities and outbound targets
• Operate under ambiguity and tight time constraints
• Coordinate across enabling functions and senior stakeholders
• Initiative and curiosity - willingness to take initiative on diligence, sourcing, and analysis
• Active user of Claude and agentic tooling
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and business cases

Qualifications

• 2+ years of constructing financial models, market sizing models, and structured analyses with limited oversight
• 4+ years producing executive-ready materials in slide and document format
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy, innovation, corporate development, M&A, venture investing, or related analytical-and-execution roles
• Ability to travel 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

• MBA or other advanced degrees in business, finance, innovation, or technology
• 4+ years prior experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, corporate development, venture investing, or a similar analytical-and-execution role
• Background working with or within startups, new ventures, or innovation labs
• International experience and/or ability to operate effectively in cross-cultural contexts
