About the role

Step up as our Chief Engineer and keep our property running smoothly—ensuring equipment is always in top shape, guests are happy, costs stay in check, and operations run like clockwork. You’ll lead a team, tackle tough problems, and make a real impact on our success.

Responsibilities

• Keep every room and public space in tip-top shape, meeting company standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team, inspiring top performance.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and drills to ensure everyone’s safety.
• Respond to maintenance requests and enhance guest service scores.
• Patrol the grounds, manage debris, handle “Lost and Found,” and maintain the property’s appearance.
• Access sensitive areas and represent the company with trust and sound judgment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of hotel or related experience, or a 2-year degree with 3+ years of experience, or a 4-year degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in financial and arithmetic tasks.
