Chief Engineer for Courtyard by Marriott - Fort Collins, CO

About the role

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance department at their Courtyard by Marriott in Fort Collins, CO. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of facilities experience and experience in a management position.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Diagnoses problems or repairs machines.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment.
• Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and proper documentation is being recorded.
• Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (for occupied rooms).
• Performs pool chemical testing.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• At least 2 years of facilities experience.
• Experience in a management position.
