Key Responsibilities
- Walk the grounds and check all common buildings and amenities, including the Clubhouse, pool, and playground areas, at least twice per night between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., seven nights a week.
- Maintain surveillance of the property, identifying suspicious activity and reporting it immediately to local authorities and the Community Director.
- Provide extra patrol on holidays such as the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve, and as needed.
- Note areas of poor lighting or malfunctioning security lights and report them to the Community Director.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and inform them of your presence on the property.
- Submit a weekly written report/log of all activities encountered to the Community Director.
- Avoid apprehending or attempting a citizen's arrest unless necessary to protect someone from immediate danger.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed law enforcement officer in the same city or municipality as the property.
- Police academy training or related law enforcement training required.
- Required to live on the property (apartment included).
