About the role

As an entry-level team member at Meijer, you will gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coincide and collect the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

• A highly-organized person with a keen sense for details.
• A great listener and communicator.
• The ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product or using various equipment.
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location. $15.00 - $15.00
