Court Monitor
Objective: To provide exceptional customer service and to monitor court activities during regulated play hours.
Reports to: Assistant Fitness Director
- Arrive 5 - 10 minutes early, dressed in appropriate uniform and prepared.
- Enforce the rules of the basketball court and AFF during regulated play.
- Check wristbands at the door to ensure everyone entering the court is a member.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Help keep score of the game and referee
- Perform light housekeeping duties in the basketball court
- Attend mandatory department meetings.
- Consistently promote ongoing activities to members.
Requirements
- Must be able to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30pm to 9pm and Tuesdays and Fridays 6pm-9pm.
- Must possess strong customer service skills.
- Basic basketball knowledge required. Previous referee experience preferred but not required.
