Responsibilities
Develops and implements policies and procedures.
Manages court records, case management, and courtroom operations.
Coordicates with judges, Judiciary divisions, attorneys, and external agencies.
Oversees budgets, personnel, technology systems, and legislative matters.
Ensures the accurate processing, custody, and certification of legal documents.
Schedules court calendars statewide.
Supervises and trains staff.
Provides technical assistance to the public and legal community.
Ensures compliance with applicable statutes, court rules, and administrative policies.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
- Specialized Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional, administrative, technical work experience in a court or legal setting, including supervisory experience.
Qualifications
- Staff Specialist or Supervisory Experience: Six (6) months of experience in areas such as program development, evaluation, and advisory services.
- Administrative Experience: Administrative aptitude rather than actual experience.
Skills
- Writing clear and comprehensive reports and documents.
- Reading and interpreting complex material.
- Solving complex problems logically and systematically.
