About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

Lifts and moves packages weighing up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
Ensures compliance with FedEx service features and standards.
Provides customer service functions as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED
Six (6) months courier experience preferred
Demonstrated area knowledge
Good human relations and verbal communication skills
Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
At least 21 years of age
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
Neat appearance due to customer contact
Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements
Good driving record as per FMCSA/FAA regulations

Qualifications

Ability to lift 50 lbs
Knowledge of the station's service area preferred
