About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and moves packages weighing up to 50 lbs using appropriate equipment and assistance.
• Ensures compliance with FedEx service features during deliveries and pickups.
• Provides customer service functions as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Area knowledge demonstrated.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and courier methods.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned.
• Good driving record as per FMCSA or FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have had driver’s license for at least three years without gaps or suspensions.
• Two (2) years of courier/delivery driving experience strongly preferred.

Pay

$23.42 - $35.54

Additional Details

Tuesday - Friday: 07:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday: 06:30 am to 4:30 pm

Job Conditions
