Courier/Non-DOT

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
• Provide related customer service functions
• Operate company vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and communication skills
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials
• Neat appearance (customer contact required)
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned

$21.05 per hour

Schedule

• Part Time
• Tuesday–Friday: 8:40 AM–2:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:30 AM–5:00 PM
