Courier/Non-DOT

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages courteously and efficiently
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
• Provide customer service related to shipments
• Operate company vehicles not regulated by FMCSA section 391
• Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and communication skills
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
• Neat appearance (customer contact required)
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safely
• Valid driver’s license for the assigned vehicle type

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience or skills

Pay

$22.11 - $32.83 per hour

Schedule

Part-time, Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (day off to be determined)
