About the role

We are looking for a friendly and customer-service-oriented Courier with a clean driving record to enhance our team.

Responsibilities

Cook timely and efficient transportation of medical specimens and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.
Maintain cleanliness and perform maintenance on company vehicles and transport devices.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
Document operations and complete necessary reports.
Aid with training and communication among couriers and relevant departments.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong preference for candidates with previous driving/courier experience.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Clean driving record.

Qualifications

Navigation, punctuality, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to drive in inclement weather.
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs, occasional lifting of 30-60 lbs.
Ability to sit in vehicle/drive for up to 4 hours nonstop.
Ability to load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved.
Able to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
Regularly handle potentially infectious samples.
Drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions, including built-up areas, freeway, and rural traffic, hours of darkness, and inclement weather.
May be exposed to odorous chemicals and specimens.
Occasional-to-regular kneeling, bending, stooping and twisting to perform vehicle inspections and minor operator maintenance, including changing tires.
