About the role

Sentara Health is currently seeking a Full Time, Day shift, Courier based out of Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. Hours are 5:15AM til approx 1:30PM, one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages.
• Operates vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner.
• Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

One year Courier experience in lieu of High School Education

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or Equivalent
• Driver License
