Courier/Field Technician - Laboratory

A Day in the Life

• Pick up samples from customers and collect water or soil samples.
• Deliver sampling supplies to clients.
• Return samples to the laboratory.
• Provide courteous, respectful, responsive and excellent client service to internal and external clients.
• Maintain the company vehicle in optimal driving condition.
• Maintain a clean vehicle, both inside and outside.
• Inform supervisor within 3 days if ticketed or arrested for driving related offences outside of work, and immediately if the event happens on the job.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Your Expertise and Skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs into their vehicle.
• Driving record meeting Montrose requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Subject to TWIC certification for Client Site access (preferred).
• Good driving and safety skills.
• Courteous and communicative.
• Basic Laboratory experience (plus).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, and walking.
• Lifting 50 pounds several times a day.
• Overhead lifting of over 20 pounds.
• Works in an office environment.
• May be exposed to hot and cold environments.
• May occasionally work shifts up to 12 hours in duration.
