About the role
Eurofins Scientific is seeking two full-time Couriers to work out of the Concord, New Hampshire lab. The role involves the pick-up and delivery of water, soil, and air samples while maintaining quality, hold time, and turnaround time objectives. Couriers will prepare and deliver bottle orders, manage sample control supplies, perform sampling events, and dispose of hazardous waste according to guidelines.
This position requires driving 200-300 miles per shift, covering parts of New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Maine.
Schedule
- Full-time positions available
- Monday–Friday
- Shifts: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay
$14–$16 per hour plus benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties as outlined in the Courier SOP, including pick-up and delivery of samples and bottle orders.
- Count and verify samples against the Chain of Custody to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Transport samples on ice to maintain hold times and inspect for damage or violations.
- Interact professionally with Project Managers and clients.
- Follow directions or maps to locate client sites and record arrival/departure times in the courier log book.
- Maintain records for vehicle maintenance and mileage.
- Restock supplies and verify the completeness of bottle orders before delivery.
- Comply with Section 14 of the Transportation and Fleet Safety Manual and the Company’s Driver Evaluation and Qualification Policy.
- Maintain a safe shipping/receiving area and prepare outgoing shipments of bottle kits and coolers.
- Perform on-site sampling events as needed and dispose of samples monthly in compliance with EPA and EH&S requirements.
- Maintain the delivery truck in proper working order and label samples as needed.
- Perform additional sample control duties as assigned by the department manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record for company vehicle use.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (samples are often in coolers packed with ice).
- Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Basic computer skills.
