Overview
Captures and executes all transportation needs for residents including medical appointments and facility outings. Assists all departments with transportation needs of residents and/or potential prospects. Manages vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors consistently.
- Strives to meet/exceed the needs of the facility's customers/residents by demonstrating flexibility and sense of urgency to create a service excellence experience.
- Responsible for assuring safe practices in accordance with RHS policies and procedures.
- Notifies Transportation Coordinator or Director of Resident Services when required vehicle maintenance is needed.
- Demonstrates the ability to plan transportation routes to decrease vehicle mileage and gas consumption.
- Completes paperwork to ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
- Maintains transportation and maintenance logs for facility vehicles and logs residents' participation on facility outings.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and accomplish assignments with accuracy and timeliness (meeting work schedules, work assignments and completed by deadlines, received minimal customer complaints).
- Maintains positive interactions with fellow team members, residents and visitors.
- Assists customers with billing inquiries, questions or concerns. Provides follow up in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles (preferred).
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) from DMV upon hire (required).
- Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) from AHA/ARC upon hire (required).
- First Aid from AHA/ARC upon hire (required).
- Valid Drivers License required to drive personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job.
Pay
Hiring range is $15.60 - $20.25/hourly. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
