Courier/DOT

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid license for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance (customer contact required)
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Must pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position (medical exam required)
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries

Preferred Qualifications

• Availability Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm

Pay

Starting pay range: $21.05 - $31.26 per hour. Actual starting pay determined by experience, market level, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
