About the role

This role involves operating company vehicles for the purpose of delivering and picking up packages. Responsibilities include providing courteous and efficient service, checking shipments for compliance with FedEx service standards, and performing related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pickup.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions.

• Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
• Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Pay

• $26.70 - $35.25 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, Monday through Friday, 1000 - 1630 hours.
