Courier/DOT

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid license for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.; ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance (customer contact required).
• Meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Pass a medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations (non‑covered safety‑sensitive position).
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries per FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Schedule

Part‑Time, Wednesday‑Saturday.
