Driver / Operator of Company Vehicles

Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED
• Licensed for type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance due to customer contact
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position
• Medical exam required
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Starting Pay: $24.21 per hour

• Information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum.
• Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
• An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.

Monday – Saturday w/day off TBD, 2:00 PM – 06:00 PM (subject to change based on route coverage)
