About the role

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer‑service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. This position will replace five drivers who have moved or left the company (e.g., FT Alberto Chapa, PT William Cruz, PT Mikayla Rodriguez, FT Francisco Sanchez, FT Ernesto Gonzales).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features.
• Provide related customer‑service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Back‑fill routes for departing drivers as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and maneuver packages above 50 lb with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human‑relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance, as the role involves customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in §391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations (non‑covered safety‑sensitive position).
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA guidance.

Pay

Pay: $21.05 – $31.26 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Saturday; specific times to be determined.
