Part-Time Position: Tuesday - Saturday (Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 8:45 PM, Saturday 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM)

About the role

Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages efficiently and courteously
• Verify shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
• Provide customer service related to deliveries and pickups
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle assigned
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Must pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance (customer contact required)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic officials, and respond to inquiries
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Schedule

• Tuesday - Saturday
• Monday - Friday: 3:00 PM - 8:45 PM
• Saturday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM
