About the Role

As a Driver / Operator of company vehicles, you will be responsible for providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provide related customer service functions. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages in a timely and efficient manner
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle assigned
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Neat appearance, as customer contact is required
• Must meet qualifications outlined in Section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Must pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Minimum age of 21 years
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with officials, and respond to inquiries and directions

• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
