About the role

This position involves operating company vehicles for the purpose of delivering and picking up packages. Responsibilities include providing courteous and efficient service, ensuring shipments conform to FedEx service standards, and performing related customer service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for package delivery and pickup.
• Ensure shipments comply with FedEx service standards.
• Provide customer service functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Medical exam required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Clean driving history.

Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• $26.70 - $35.25 per hour.
• Part-time schedule: 09:30 - 16:30, Monday - Friday.
