About the role
We are seeking a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who believes in treating the whole person, not just symptoms. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing thoughtful, trauma-informed care to individuals, couples, and families while recognizing the impact of relationships, lifestyle, and the mind-body connection on overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide care that actually transforms by meeting with clients in-person and integrating therapeutic modalities that honor the mind-body connection.
- Maintain a caseload of 20 clients per week (1,040 sessions annually) and allocate up to 30 working hours weekly, including sessions, admin, and team meetings.
- Stay curious, stay growing by engaging in weekly consultations with colleagues who genuinely care about your development.
- Pursue continuing education that lights you up.
- Show up for the team by participating in team meetings, consultations, and gatherings (virtual or in-person).
- Foster the collaborative, supportive culture that makes Reset special.
- Respond to clients and colleagues with professionalism and care.
- Represent Reset's values of authenticity, mindfulness, and compassion in everything you do.
- Be active within our communities by partnering with our Community Engagement Coordinator and attending various community events.
Requirements
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, or a strong desire to build a diverse caseload across these populations.
- Experience with or a strong interest in integrative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches to care.
- Training or certification in one or more modalities such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapies, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, expressive arts, Polyvagal Theory-informed interventions, or similar approaches is preferred.
- Availability to provide some evening and/or weekend appointments.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, self-reflection, and ethical clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Full license as a Michigan psychotherapist (LPC, LMSW, LP, LLP, or LMFT).
- A calm, grounded presence and understanding of the importance of helping clients feel safe and supported.
- A passion for building authentic, trusting therapeutic relationships and meeting clients with empathy and curiosity.
- A commitment to providing compassionate, whole-person mental health care that is accessible and inclusive.
- An excitement to be part of a practice that is growing with purpose and making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
