About the role
Under the direction of the Director of Human Services, this position supervises accounting operations within the Human Services department.
Responsibilities
- Supervise accounting staff and daily accounting functions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county financial regulations
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
- Coordinate audits and financial reviews
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Provide financial analysis and support to department leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Significant accounting experience, preferably in government or human services
- Supervisory or lead worker experience
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Pay
$87,817.00 - $111,945.00 / Year
