About the role

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a Countroom Cashier Lead in our Cage Department. The role coordinates the operation of the Countroom and collaborates with the Security department regarding the drop box pull.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the operation of the Countroom and collaborates with the Security department regarding the drop box pull.
• Trains new count room cashiers.
• Ensures the security of the Countroom is maintained at all times.
• Conducts Cage chip runs to several cages.
• Collects racks for the count at the beginning of the shift as needed.
• Performs shredding when assigned by supervisors.
• Maintains the Countroom and ensures it is a safe work environment.
• Monitors equipment needs of the Countroom and recommends repair or replacement as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to work in a loud and noisy environment (chip/box count).
• Able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 25 pounds.
• Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Banking or casino experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to use a 10-key adding machine.
